As 2024 comes to a close, it’s incredible to reflect on how quickly the year has passed, especially when working with such an outstanding team like our CALAfam. Each day is filled with excitement and purpose as we tackle a range of projects – big, small, and everything in between. Thanks to our team’s dedication and hard work, this year has flown by!

Looking back, there have been many achievements worth celebrating. Our leadership team has guided the company toward innovative strategies, including expanding our reach with a new office in Reno, NV. We’ve embraced new technology, pushing boundaries to increase productivity and deliver high-quality, visually engaging design solutions. Our focus on creating a strong sense of place underscores CALA’s commitment to local engagement and sustainable development.

Additionally, several staff members have celebrated significant milestones:

Our team also had plenty of fun together this year, with outings and a friendly fitness competition, where the Burlingame office came out on top! We were thrilled to welcome three summer interns from UC Davis, who brought fresh energy and perspective to the team. Throughout the year, we also had the opportunity to attend exciting industry events like the CA Trails & Greenway Conference and Bike to Work Day, connecting with clients and staying on top of trends.

As we head into the holidays, we want to express heartfelt thanks to our incredible clients and professional partners for all the opportunities to collaborate this year.

Looking ahead to 2025, we are proud of our accomplishments and remain committed to making a meaningful impact on the communities we serve. Here’s to more success in the new year—and a joyful holiday season to all!
